Well if you are not a carnivore nor like pork then this article is not for you. If on the other hand you enjoy a good pork dish here are 32 different recipes for you. The recent Food and Wine magazine has an article called, "Talking Pigskin: Pork Recipes for NFL Football". Sounds like fun! They have it broken out by leagues and teams. For example, just say I was a 49er fan, that recipe is: Pork Medallions with Onion Marmalade, let's say I might also be a Patriot's fan, then that recipe listed is Cherrystone Clam Chowder with Corn. Go check out the article and get some new ideas to serve your family and friends when they come over for the next game. I know it would be un-business like for me not to mention what wine to serve with these dishes. Well, if you click onto the recipe at the bottom of the directions Food and Wine lists a suggested wine to serve with each dish. But as a comment, here are some rules to go by when pairing a recipe with a wine according to "What to Drink with What you Eat" by Andrew Dornenburg and Karen Page: Rule #1 - Think Regionally, if it grows together, it goes together. Rule #2 - Come to your Senses, let your five senses guide your choices. Rule #3 - Balance flavors, tickle your tongue in more ways than one. By the way, if we're talking football, I really root for college Pac 10 football, and specifically the California Golden Bears. GO BEARS! Sorry no recipes for that :) Enjoy the football season. Lori
