We can't live on wine alone. Sad, but true. We have to have food. Of some sort. And better food, taste-wise and nutritionally, is a good thing. But we're out in Napa Valley, on the Silverado Trail. So what to do about lunch, that is not going to disturb or perturb our day of wine tasting?
Soda Canyon Store
On the Silverado Trail, the place to go for lunch is the Soda Canyon Store. 2 miles north of Trancas Street on the Silverado Trail, the Soda Canyon Store makes great sandwiches, can satisfy your needs for other munchies and drinks, and has both tables right outside on the patio (where you can drink wine) as well as tables in the picnic area right next to the store. Of course, you can also take the sandwiches to go if you have a winery in mind for your picnic. Click here for a list of Silverado Trail wineries.
