It's a must to go to Oregon to explore their wine regions. I have been there twice and this article from the Los Angeles Times travel section is dead on. It is so beautiful, the people so nice, the wine region are very quaint. Be sure to plan on going to the Willamette wine region and explore all the different wineries. The specialty in this wine region is Pinot Noir. Beware though, a lot of the smaller wineries are closed in January as they take that month to regroup and refresh. Call in advance. Lori
