Lori Lapides, Founder
Lori Lapides Lori's career includes many years in the kitchen, restaurant and catering businesses (she's a trained chef). As a gourmet foods entrepreneur and travel agent she has traveled the world, with over 20 different stamps in her passport from Europe to the Middle East to Asia and the South Pacific. She has lived in and traveled to some of the best wine growing spots in our country such as the Finger Lakes wine region (upstate New York), Santa Barbara, Oregon and Washington. She has been living in the San Francisco Bay area for the last 18 years.

Lori earned her culinary and business certificates from Diablo Valley College in 1998, which culminated by earning a 7-week internship at a patisserie in Paris. Lori's peers voting her in as Executive Chef for the class graduation dinner. This 3-course dinner was prepared and executed for over 500 guests. Michael Chiarello was the keynote speaker.

Lori's favorite things to do involve wine, food and travel, not necessarily in that order. She loves planning trips around food and wine. One of the inspirations for developing these tours was her trip to New Zealand a few years back where she organized the 2-week trip for her and 5 others.
